Texas Adds Three New Services to Electronic Visit Verification Requirements Starting August 01, 2026
Financial Management Services (FMS) agencies and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employers in Texas are being notified that Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) claims matching requirements are expanding. Starting August 01, 2026, three additional Consumer Directed Services will require a verified EVV visit match for claims to be paid.
Any EVV claims with a date of service of August 01, 2026 or later that do not have a matching EVV visit for these newly added services will be denied payment.
The three services being added are as follows.
Primary Home Care (PHC) Personal Attendant Services (PAS), Level 1 (Non-Priority) under Consumer Directed Services has been added under Service Group 7, Service Code 17V, with Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code G0718. This has been added to the Claims Management System (CMS) Long-Term Care (LTC) Fee-For-Service (FFS) section, with an EVV effective match date of August 01, 2026.
Family Care (FC) Agency Admin, PAS FC CDS has been added under Service Group 7, Service Code 17CV, with HCPCS code G0747, also in the CMS LTC FFS section. The EVV effective match date is August 01, 2026.
Community Attendant Services (CAS) PAS CDS-Agency has been added under Service Group 7, Service Code 17DV, with HCPCS code G0750, also placed in the CMS LTC FFS section. The EVV effective match date is August 01, 2026.
